About

My name is Anne MacKelvie and I teach Spanish at South Melbourne Park Primary (Elementary) School in Albert Park, Melbourne, Australia. Currently I teach Years P- 6. I have changed back to my first love, Spanish, after teaching Indonesian for 10 years (mostly to Years P- 3) at Point Cook P-9 College.

I became interested in TCI/TPRS in 2015, when I saw amazing improvements in the Year 2s I trialled the new methodology with. So now I use TPRS with all my students. I love the philosophy  behind this method of teaching!  I initially developed this blog to help those teaching the early years. Now it is going to be extended to all primary levels! I hope my observations may help others who are using TCI/TPRS. My email is anne.mackelvie@education.vic.gov.au
